You know those cheezy ornamental dolls that you put on your dashboard and their heads bob around? Well that movement has become part of our daily lives here. You see, when you are speaking to an Indian they constantly bob their head. Not "up and down" meaning yes, and not "side to side" meaning no. Rather just like a bobble head. And, this can be very confusing especially if you are asking a question. Like today I asked the technician if he put a new ink cartridge in my printer and with a thick accent I thought I heard yes but it looked like his head was telling me no.
